Mark your calendars for VBS 2012! This year, VBS will be a break-dancing, hip-hop dance party! Each day kids will focus on an attribute of God and then praise Him in response. This is a curriculum where kids will actively be using their Bibles. Through the daily skits, karaoke, crafts, snacks, games, and music, kids will have an awesome time while giving God the praise only He deserves.

VBS Volunteer Opportunities

We are currently recruiting volunteers for VBS. Sign up here to be a volunteer now!

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities before, during and after the week of VBS; search the list below for an opportunity that works well for you!

Drama Coordinator Oversee the Bible story/drama station by coordinating skits and actors during each night of VBS.

Game Coordinator Oversee the game area by coordinating activities and volunteers as groups of children rotate through this station each night.

Craft Coordinator Oversee the craft room by coordinating projects, including prep prior to VBS, for all children as they rotate through each night. 

Snack Coordinator Oversee the snack supplies, prep and volunteers for all VBS children and volunteers throughout VBS.

Early Childhood Coordinator Coordinate the groups, volunteers and activities for VBS children 3-5 years old. 

Small Group Leaders Each leader supervises a group of school age children and leads them through a series of stations each evening.

Early Childhood Leaders Leaders help plan and carry out fun VBS lessons and activities for children 3-5 years old.

Worship Leaders Sing songs, teach motions and generally get kids excited about worship during VBS!

Outreach Team Help us register children from the community with events at local parks and events in the weeks prior to VBS.

Drama Team Actors perform skits during our opening assembly each night and at our Bible Drama Station.

Snack Team Volunteers prepare snacks for our VBS children.

Craft Team Volunteers prepare and assist children in making their daily crafts.

Game Team Volunteers play organized games with groups of children as they rotate through the game station.

Childcare Team Volunteers provide care for VBS volunteers' children age 0-2 years old.

Decoration Team Join a group of creative people to make decorations and decorate the church a few days prior to the VBS launch.

Registration Team Volunteer before and after weekend services (in the weeks prior to VBS) to register children. Volunteers may also serve on Monday, July 16 to register and organize children as they arrive for our first night of VBS.

Youth Helpers Youth ages 10 and up may volunteer to assist in any of the areas listed above.

Photographers Take video and pictures of all the VBS fun throughout the week!

Medical Volunteer We have a certified medical professional on site each evening in case of injuries.

Behind the Scenes Prepare materials at home ahead of time for VBS.

Prayer Team Send your email address to Pam Williams and you will get regular messages with prayer requests.
